1. Data Collection

FitDash does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All information you enter — including age, weight, exercise logs, and health metrics — is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage.

2. Cookies & Storage

This application uses localStorage (not cookies) to persist your profile settings and activity history. No cookies are used for tracking, advertising, or analytics. Third-party libraries (Tailwind CSS CDN, Chart.js CDN) may set their own cookies as governed by their respective privacy policies.

3. Data Usage

Data is used solely to display your fitness statistics, activity history, and calorie trend charts locally within your browser. No data is ever transmitted to FitDash servers or any third party.

4. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Access — Export all your data as a JSON file.
  • Rectification — Edit or delete individual entries from your activity history.
  • Erasure — Delete all your data entirely.
  • Portability — Download your data and import it elsewhere.

5. Children's Privacy

FitDash is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
